Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge recently announced that United Methodist Church in Albert Lea will host its choir in a free performance Sunday. The choir will perform at the church’s 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services at 702 South U.S. Highway 69 in Albert Lea.
According to a press release, the Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge choir is known statewide, having performed at more than 200 churches in 2015. The choir’s contemporary gospel and praise songs will be accompanied by client stories of addiction recovery. Additionally, representatives from the program will be available following the service to answer questions about the programs of Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge.
“This event is open to the public, and I encourage everyone to come,” said Tom Truszinski, center director of the Rochester campus of Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge. “You will be inspired by the message of hope brought by the Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge choir.”
