The Naeve Alumni and Nurses Club hosted its annual luncheon May 7 at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. According to a press release, nine $1,000 scholarships were awarded during the luncheon.

Scholarship recipients included Jared Bush of Alden; Hannah Savelkoul of Albert Lea; Katie Rasmussen of Albert Lea; Emma Olson of Albert Lea; Rachel Wallin of Albert Lea; Tiffany Johnson of Albert Lea; and Zachary Anderson, Abby Ness and Elizabeth Peterson received scholarships but were unable to attend.

The 1956, 1961 and 1966 classes were also honored during the luncheon.

Members from the Naeve School of Nursing class of 1956 included Delores (Leaf) Steele, Mavis (Olson) Stevens, Harriet (Beenken) Thompson, Carol (Kottke) Mills, Myrna (Comnick) Carlson, Della (Bloch) Hoffman, LaVonne (Teigen) Aase, Janan (Hellie) Beenken and Barbara (Louvar) Soper.

Members from the Naeve School of Nursing class of 1961 included Karen (Wingen) Van Wier, Diana (Neumann) Mueller, Joyce (Krueger) Renken, Marlene (Kontzelmann) Lindely, Wanda (Shupe) Hillman, Beverly (Elwood) Rowland and Joanne (Rasmusson) Jensen. Arline (Bauer) Blood and Lorrane (Keeler) Thorson were not present.

Members of the Naeve School of Nursing class of 1966 included Marcia (Storby) Henry, Donna (Williamson) Roerish, Korrinne Kanne, Virginia (Hanson) Thompson, Janet (Tue) Hermanson, Judith (Lee) Lucier, Donna (Stalhiem) Peterson, Nancy (Woller) Marcus and Shirley (Kellerman) Midthun. Sharon (Bakke) Brown, Betty (Hoyt) Chapin, Bette (Ulrich) Schmidt, Corinne (Weite) Johnson and LeDonna Wistrcill were not present.
