The Civil War Roundtable will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the media center at Southwest Middle School. According to a press release, the topic will be food and recipes of the North and South during the Civil War, which will be presented by Marie DeGennaro. The presentation covers civilian and military food and recipes. The event is free and open to the general public. A summer hiatus of these meetings will occur and the next meeting will be Sept. 1.
