Lake Mills rebounded in a huge way against North Iowa Wednesday night.
After registering five runs over their past three games, the Bulldogs offense got back on track by scoring 13 runs in a 13-3 win.
The Bulldogs put together four runs in the second inning, then busted out for seven runs in the third inning.
That would be more than enough for pitcher Luke Groe, who pitched six innings for the complete game. He gave up 11 hits, but only two earned runs and he struck out seven.
The offense was paced by Cael Boehmer, Grant Boehmer, Slade Sifuentes and Charlie Dugger, who each had two hits apiece and combined for six RBI.
The win ends a three-game losing streak for the Bulldogs.
They will travel to Northwood to take on Northwood-Kensett tonight.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
