MINNEAPOLIS — A teenager has pleaded guilty to attacking a school principal in north Minneapolis.

The 18-year-old pleaded guilty Friday to assault charges. Since the former student was 17 at the time of the December attack, her case was handled in juvenile court.

According to court documents, the teen was in the cafeteria at Harrison Education Center when the principal asked her to leave because the teen had been suspended. The teen grabbed the principal by the hair, pulled her to the ground and punched her in the face several times. The principal suffered a concussion.
