Mary Etta Wolf, 99, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, June 1, 2016, of complications related to heart failure.
Mary Etta Wolf was born Aug. 5, 1916.
Mary Etta grew up in the St. Peter and LeSueur area.
After she married Leonard, they moved to Fairmont and later to Albert Lea. She lived in Bayport for the past nine years. Mary Etta was a loving parent and devout Catholic. Her family and faith were everything to her. She loved music and gardening. She will be deeply missed by so many whose lives she touched.
Her family requests that others keep Mary Etta and her family in their prayers.
She was preceded in death by husband, Leonard; parents Louis and Rose Anne Rheaume; son, Thomas; brothers Monroe, William (Francis), Raymond (Janet, Beverly), George and Robert; and sisters Idella (Floyd), Helen (Florian, Floyd) and Irene (Lloyd).
She is survived by daughter, Mary (Steve) Schmitt; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Patricia; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church, 409 Third St. N in Bayport. A luncheon will follow. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in St. Peter, with details to be announced at a later date.
Memorials are preferred to Croixdale, and donations will be used to fund the many activities that Mary Etta loved.
