After a rough seventh inning on Monday, the Northwood-Kensett Vikings rebounded in a big way with a 1-0 victory over Riceville Tuesday.

The Vikings got a great pitching effort from sophomore Colton Moretz, who went the distance and gave up just four hits. He struck out seven.

The Vikings managed just two hits in the game, but Garrett Thompson was able to drive in Trevor Varner in the fourth inning   for the game’s only run.
