School supply assistance offered

The Salvation Army will help provide school supplies for those in need from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 16 at The Salvation Army, 302 Court St. in Albert Lea.
According to a press release, applications will be processed at the same time as the school supplies are distributed. Parents/guardians are asked to bring proof that their child is registered in kindergarten through seventh grade at a Freeborn County School and a parental ID.
