2 arrested on warrants
Deputies reportedly arrested Ryan Michael Hanson, 25, on a Rice County warrant at 12:39 a.m. Monday at 82526 330th St., outside Ellendale.
Police arrested Anthony Michael Whelan, 34, on two local warrants at 9:34 a.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
1 arrested for violation
Albert Lea police arrested Edward Antwaun Lewis, 28, for a probation violation at 2:48 p.m. Monday at 334 W. William St.
2 cited for violations
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Rayon Du’Pree Gordon, 19, for possession of small amount of marijuana on a traffic stop at 10:59 a.m. Friday on Interstate 35, near the interchange with Interstate 90. Deputies cited Symia Lenae Kyles, 24, for speeding on the traffic stop.
Thefts reported
Theft of mail was reported at 4:05 p.m. Friday at 1435 South Shore Drive.
A mailbox for renters to leave cash and checks in was reported taken at 5:34 p.m. Friday at 110 S.E. Seventh St., in Glenville. Two-hundred and fifty dollars from a lock box was reported taken between 3 and 4 p.m.
A child’s bike was reported stolen at 10:17 a.m. Monday at 2010 S.E. Marshall St. The black and purple BMX bike was reportedly stolen sometime in the last three days.
Two clients’ accounts were reportedly being used at 10:31 a.m. Monday at 1114 Skylark Lane.
A stolen television was reported at 3:16 p.m. Monday 2306 E. Main St.
Underage party reported
A possible underage drinking party with about 30 teenagers was reported at 12:30 a.m. Saturday at 22251 690th Ave., outside Alden. More details were not available at press time.
Meth found
A trace amount of methamphetamine was reported found and collected by an officer at 5:40 p.m. Monday at 2301 E. Main St.
Assault reported
An assault was reported at 5:53 p.m. Monday at 328 E. Clark St. The assault reportedly occurred Sunday evening.
Someone was reported as having broken things and having a loaded gun in front of a girlfriend and children at 2:18 p.m. Monday at 905 S. Third Ave. The suspect had reportedly left at the time of the call.
