School is back in session and so are many Cub Scout packs across south central Minnesota.  Through the month of October, Cub Scout packs will host Join Scouting events, inviting youth from kindergarten through fifth grade to visit local elementary schools and learn more about scouting.

This year’s Join Scouting theme is Build an Adventure. All Cub Scouts that join will receive a free pinewood derby car complements of 3M.

Parents can watch for a Cub Scout flyer in their child’s take home folder from school. The flyer will provide specific information about Cub Scout pack activities in their area. Parents can also visit www.BeaScout.org or call 507-387-3123 to find the nearest Cub Scout pack.
