Lake Mills continues to roll opponents

The Lake Mills Bulldogs have yet to face stiff competition.
If they keep playing how they are currently playing, perhaps playing against the stiffest competition might not matter.
The Bulldogs hosted Bishop-Garrigan Thursday night in volleyball, and took all three sets for the third time in three matches.
“We started off slowly due to poor serving,” said Bulldogs coach Jim Boehmer. “We missed nine serves in the first two sets.”
Lake Mills won the first two sets by scores of 25-13 and 25-18, but it picked it up in set three.
“The third set was our best set of the year, so far,” said Boehmer. “We were good in all aspects, but I told the girls, ‘We can’t wait to get things rolling.’”
The end result was a 25-7 drubbing.
Lexi Groe led the Bulldogs with 11 kills and Robyn Bowman dished out 33 assists.
The Bulldogs are 3-0 on the season.
They will be in a tournament in Algona Saturday.
