After failing to score a goal in its previous game, the Albert Lea girls’ soccer team erupted against Worthington Monday night.
The Tigers found the back of the net six times and freshman goalie Marissa Vogt made her varsity debut and earned a shutout in a 6-0 victory.
Rachel Rehnelt scored three goals and Callie Hanson added two more for the Tigers.
The six goals are the most scored by the Tigers since 2014, when they scored nine goals in a victory over Stewartville.
The Tigers also earned their fourth win of the season, surpassing their win total from 2015.
Albert Lea will be at home tonight against Red Wing.
Start time for the match is scheduled for 7 p.m.
