Pauline Ochoa, 1931-2016

Pauline Aske Ochoa passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at St. John’s Lutheran Community in Albert Lea. She was 84 years old.
Pauline was born Dec. 29, 1931, to John and Andrea Zamora near Blue Earth. She was united in marriage to Donald D. Aske and later to Maubro (Morrie) Ochoa.
Pauline is survived by her daughters Lynn (Jim) Webb of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Linda (Stanley) Miller of Loveland, Colorado; grandchildren Carol Carr (Damian Cardona) Derrick (Becky) Avelar, Tomye (Tim) Watts and Danielle Hamberg; great-grandchildren Trevor Salthe, Demitra Cardona, Riley, Cooper, Brecken Avelar and Vaughn and Marlowe Watts; brothers Jacob (Lupe) Zamora and John (Phyllis) Zamora; and her most special sister, Mary Louise McCarty as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husbands Donald D. Aske and Maubro (Morrie) Ochoa; her daughter and best friend, Darice Ann Hamberg; brothers Joseph, Jessie, Art, Daniel, Rick and David; and her sisters Ofelia and Angie.
Her family said, “Mama, we will miss you forever.”

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. The Rev. John Holt will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea and one hour before the service at church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
