DULUTH — Fill up your glass if you live in St. Cloud. Your water has been named the best-tasting in Minnesota.

The American Water Works Association awarded St. Cloud the top prize in its “Best In Glass” competition at its annual conference in Duluth on Thursday. The Granite City beat out the other two finalists, Duluth and Bloomington.

St. Cloud will represent the state at the national convention in Philadelphia in June.

Last month St. Cloud’s tap water also won the “People’s Choice” award in a contest voted on by Minnesota State Fair goers.

The American Water Works Association also awarded St. Cloud its top statewide prize in 2011.
