It went the distance, but the Northwood-Kensett Vikings held off Rockford in the fifth set Tuesday.

After winning the first two sets, Northwood-Kensett volleyball dropped the next two to set up a final and exciting fifth set.

The Vikings won the set, 15-13, and the match, giving them their second win in three matches after losing six in seven matches in the Algona Tournament this past weekend.

Terran Haberman led the Vikings with 12 kills and Erika Heideman had 17 assists.

Northwood-Kensett will be in a tournament in Manly Saturday.
