1 arrested for assault

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Joel Michael Johnson, 21, for fifth-degree assault and misdemeanor domestic assault after an assault was reported at 11:03 p.m. Friday at 101 E. Park Ave. in Hollandale.

1 arrested for drunken driving

Albert Lea police arrested Ronald Lyle Nelson, 51, for third-degree driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop at 10:49 p.m. Saturday at 913 Valley Ave.

2 arrested on violations

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Heidi Renae Wangsness, 39, for a harassment restraining order violation at 8:18 p.m. Sunday at 79503 298th St. outside Clarks Grove. Deputies also arrested a juvenile for an harassment restraining order violation at the scene.

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Greydon David Wendt, 29, on two local warrants during a traffic stop at 6:33 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Fountain Street and Newton Avenue.

Levi Colton West, 22, turned himself in on a local warrant at 4:26 a.m. today at 411 S. Broadway.

2 cited for violations

Police cited Nicholas Orion Pagni, 18, for possessing a small amount of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 12:05 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Seventh Street and South Broadway.

Police cited Jeremy Matthew Catalano, 22, for having an open container in public at 3 a.m. Saturday at 120 S. Washington Ave.

Child abuse reported

Child abuse was reported at 4:43 p.m. Sunday in Glenville.

Thefts reported

A theft in progress was reported at 3 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

Two fishing poles were reported stolen at 3:44 p.m. Saturday at 709 S. Washington Ave.

A theft of a Donald Trump sign was reported at 10:21 a.m. Sunday at 1608 Bridge Ave.

A theft of a portable air compressor was reported at 11:27 a.m. Sunday at 515 Freeborn Ave.

A theft of Halloween decorations was reported at 1:58 p.m. Sunday at 327 Lloyd Place.

Halloween decorations were reported stolen at 7:13 p..m Sunday at 319 Lloyd Place. Loss was estimated at $188.35.

Items damaged

A window was reported broken at 9:24 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, 308 Water St.

Vandalism was reported at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Albert Lea Car Wash, 410 E. Main St. A pay-machine screen was reported smashed in. Damage was estimated at $400.

Car fire reported

A car fire was reported at 4:38 p.m. Saturday at 116 Bridge Ave.
