Girls’ soccer: Tigers advance with victory

The Albert Lea girls’ soccer team hosted New Ulm in the first round of the section tournament Monday night. It was all Tigers, as they scored two goals in each half — Lucy Sherman, Turena Schultz, Rachel Rehnelt and Claire Sherman — and goalie Kathryn Flaherty earned a 4-0 shutout of the Eagles.
