Innovance, Inc.  acquired Midland Technologies in Rogers on Oct. 12. According to a press release, the company is now bigger, stronger and better positioned to provide our customers with the same high quality products and services they have always been given.

Midland Technologies has been the leader in the design and production of valveless vacuum and vent technology for the high pressure die casting industry. In recent years; Midland Technologies has expanded their product line of engineered components by expanding their brand with value mold components; to reach not only the die-cast industry, but also plastic injection molding.

Rick Dubay created Midland Technologies after working in different areas of the die cast industry.

“After creating Midland’s first valveless vacuum block, I knew I had a product that could save my customers valuable time and money,” Dubay said. “With Midlands’s recent product expansion and creation of value mold components. Midland Technologies has become a valuable resource for all component needs in both the die cast and injection mold industries.”

“Midland Technologies was fortunate to have the opportunity to unite with Innovance as we share a vision for the future that operates with the same values, integrity, and commitment to their customers as Midland has for the past 26 years,” Dubay said.

“We are very excited about acquiring Midland Technologies, as it brings new dimensions to our current product and service offerings, and we have acquired a very talented and experienced workforce,” Mike Larson, president and CEO of Innovance, said. “Midland has unique products in a niche market with many opportunities to expand their customer base and offerings.”

“We are impressed by Midland Technologies product technology,” Larson continued. “They are well known for their superior performance and innovative products for the die casting tool and injection mold industries.”

Midland Technologies will still operate with the same name and location in Rogers and will continue to be the leader in valve-less vacuum and vent technology.
