The Freeborn County Historical Museum’s lecture series; “Historically Speaking” will continue for the fall season with its second lecture Saturday. The lecture will be “The Lone Gunman…Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of President Kennedy.” Gary Schindler, local assassination researcher, will lead a presentation focused on exploring Oswald’s background, his preparations leading up to the assassination of the president and his flight and capture in Dallas. The lecture will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Admission is free to museum members and $5 for nonmembers. Coffee and cookies are available for the attendees.
