Pittman finishes as NRHEG’s top shooter

Charles Pittman, of the NRHEG clay shooting team, was the top finisher for the team with a score of 48-50. The NRHEG shooters finished Week 3 of fall league competition in the same place they started, trailing the teams from Buffalo and Alexandria. It was sunny both days of competition, but as fall in Minnesota so often is, the wind was cold and strong. This did not do much for the team’s scores as they went from five shooters hitting perfect rounds of 25 last week to none this week. It wasn’t all bad, however, as Charles Pittman (NRHEG) turned in a personal best 48/50 with matching 24’s to lead the team. This effort moved the eighth-grade shooter up into the top 20 scores for the conference for the week along with five other marksmen. In the top 25 overall averages for the season the team still boasts 10 athletes. Morgan Phillips (Albert Lea) is still in the female top 25. -Provided
