How does a team snap a three-game losing streak? In Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons’ case, just have the quarterback take over the game.
Derek Van Ryswyk threw for 231 yards and four touchdowns, and wide receiver Carter Dahlum hauled in three catches for 96 yards and two scores as the Knights took care of Lanesboro, 42-24.
“It was a complete team effort tonight,” said Knights coach Chad Mattson.
AC-GE forced four turnovers and got a kickoff return for a touchdown from Dahlum.
“We created some turnovers in the second quarter and jumped on those opportunites to pull into the lead at halftime.”
The win moves AC-GE to 2-3 on the season.
It will host Randolph Friday.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
