1 arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested Nicholas Lee Tuttle, 34, on probable cause for felony domestic assault after a domestic incident was reported at 12:59 a.m. Thursday at 1015 Garfield Ave.

Drive-off theft reported

A drive-off theft of $21.16 worth of gas was reported at 11:49 a.m. Thursday at 23087 Minnesota Highway 13.

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Bah Bluet, 25, for fifth-degree drug possession and a warrant during a traffic stop at 3:46 a.m. today at the intersection of Margaretha Avenue and East 12th Street.

Jonathon Kevin Whelan, 33, turned himself in on a local warrant for theft at 6:21 a.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Money stolen

A theft of $150 from a wallet was reported missing at 3:58 p.m. Thursday at 608 S. Washington Ave. A $100, $50 and a $20 bill were reported missing from the victim’s purse in the last two weeks. A possible suspect was identified. 

Windows shot out of vehicle

Someone reportedly shot out windows on a Ford Explorer and a Honda CIvic at 12:14 p.m. Thursday at 28471 810th Ave., outside Hollandale. Both vehicles were stored at a farm while attempting to be sold. One vehicle reportedly had a bullet hole while the other was smashed in.
