The United Methodist Church of Albert Lea is offering two workshops in support of people who might find the holidays a painful time.

According to a press release, the first workshop of Surviving the Holidays will be at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 14 and will be geared to those who are divorced or separated.

The second workshop will be at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15 and will focus on those who have lost a spouse, child, parent or another loved one.

Each workshop will include a video and discussion. Participants are invited to share their strategies for getting through difficult times.

No registration necessary. There is no cost for attending, but an accompanying workbook is available for $5. Refreshments will be served.
