The city of Albert Lea transfer station and demolition landfill will have different winter hours from Dec. 1 through March 31, according to a press release. Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. Services include household garbage disposal, demolition debris disposal, brush disposal, yard waste composting (with compost permit), electronics recycling, appliance recycling, used oil recycling, scrap metal recycling, cardboard/paper recycling and glass/can recycling.
