No one criticizes Mexico’s policy

Mexico has far stricter immigration laws and border policies than the United States. How is this possible? If Mexico has a strong northern border and an even stronger approach to expelling illegal immigrants, there is no reason the United States should not have similar policies. Why is nobody hurling criticism at Mexico for not accepting illegal aliens, but the same left-leaning individuals criticize Donald Trump when he proposes immigration reform?
Double standards are widespread in modern politics, but this particular one is high on the list. One baffling reason Mexico is strict on barring illegals is so as not to “upset the equilibrium of the national demographics.” Imagine if this were an American practice. One can only imagine the ensuing pandemonium. Why isn’t anyone calling Mexico’s policies racist?
