1 arrested for meth possession

Albert Lea police arrested Kelly Lynn Garner, 46, for fifth-degree meth possession after a suspicious person was reported at 6:08 a.m. today at 1110 South Shore Drive.

1 cited for violations

Albert Lea police cited one person for possessing a small amount of marijuana and possessing  drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 4:42 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Fountain Street and Ermina Avenue.

House damaged

A small window was reported broken out and a front door unlocked at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday at 516 Wedgemore Drive.

A back door was reported damaged and partially open at 1:39 p.m. Tuesday at 317 E. Eighth St.

Jacket stolen

A theft of a jacket was reported at 2:16 p.m. Tuesday at 640 Marshall St. A suspect was identified.

Attempted theft by fraud reported

A bad check was reported used to purchase more than $300 of items at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at 2708 Bridge Ave. The suspect, described as female, attempted to also buy items with a gift card. She was reportedly able to get away with the cards, which were not activated.
