The need for blood is constant, according to a press release.

To fulfill that need, Mayo Clinic Health System and the American Red Cross will host a blood drive in Albert Lea and Austin from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 29 at the following locations:

• Albert Lea, foundation board boom, located on the lower lever by the cafeteria

• Austin, classroom 3, located in the south clinic — third floor
