Hats off to Diane Heaney, the cast and crew performers of “Grease.” It was amazing! From where I sat, I could watch Diane in the pit, and she directed with her eyes, her head, her fingers flew over the piano keyboard and she poured out her heart and soul to entertain all of us. The high school auditorium was full, and three times she asked the audience if there was an empty seat anywhere so more could sit down. Sometimes there were about 50 students on stage at one time (dancing, moving fast-paced and singing). Super choreography! When the guys did “Greased Lightning” the audience responded in applause and cheering. We all went back to our high school days (for me that was 1952). It was a grandiose purple ribbon evening. Thanks to all for an evening of wonderful entertaining.
