Vikings’ offense goes cold in loss to Rockford

After beating Nashua-Plainfield on Dec. 2, the Northwood-Kensett girls’ basketball team has been trending downward.

The Vikings were looking to stop their two-game slide Friday night against Rockford.

Unfortunately, the Vikings couldn’t find the mark. They hit just 12-31 shots in a 43-32 loss.

Northwood-Kensett had three quarters in which it failed to register double-digits in points, including four points in the fourth quarter and 12 points in the second half.

Terran Haberman and Calli Christiansen led the Vikings with nine points apiece.

The Vikings are now 2-4 on the season.

Northwood-Kensett will look to end its three-game slide Tuesday night against Riceville.
