Points have been hard to come by so far for the Glenville-Emmons girls’ basketball team.

In their first two games, the Wolverines have managed a total of 32 points.

Glenville-Emmons was looking to change that Thursday night when it played Cleveland.

The Wolverines scored more points than in either of their previous two games, but it still wasn’t enough as they fell to the Clippers, 58-23.

The Clippers built a 20-point lead at halftime and never looked back.

Payton Cech led the Wolverines with 11 points. Sara Allison scored four points, and Kenna Gaines, Daniela Rizo, Kennedy Severtson and Halee Miller each scored two points.

Glenville-Emmons will not have much time to figure out its offensive woes as it will host Lyle-Pacelli tonight.
