Albert Lea’s Baby New Year was born New Year’s Day in The Baby Place at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.
Welcomed into the new year by parents Mary and Der Wah of Albert Lea at 8:24 a.m. Sunday, baby Ehnithaw Wah weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 21 inches long.
She was delivered by obstetrician Joseph Lombardi.
The baby joins older sister, Eh, who is 2.
Mother and baby were discharged from the hospital on Monday.
