Peyton Cech scored nine points and had five rebounds, but it wasn’t enough for the Glenville-Emmons girls’ basketball team Friday night against Mabel-Canton.

The Wolverines lost 55-23.

Halee Miller finished with three points and nine rebounds for Glenville-Emmons.

Mabel-Canton jumped out to a 27-9 lead at halftime and never looked back, outscoring Glenville-Emmons 28-14 over the game’s final 18 minutes.

Glenville-Emmons will host Schaeffer Academy on Saturday.
