Losing streak hits 9

A 40-point first half helped Lanesboro defeat Alden-Conger in boys’ basketball Monday night, 70-44.

Lanesboro raced out to a quick lead and never looked back as the Knights were unable to keep up with the offensive pace.

Dillan Lein led the Knights with 13 points and Dalton Bradley scored 12 points for a team that has dropped nine games in a row and to 1-11 overall.

Alden-Conger will look to end the losing streak Thursday when it heads on the road to face Mankato Loyola.
