Students participate in mock trial invitational

The Albert Lea Mock Trial team traveled to Apple Valley for the grand Minneapple Mock Trial Invitational.
According to a press release, Albert Lea showed great improvement while taking part in what team coach Neil Chalmers called, “One of the best trials I have seen in my 16 plus years as coach.”
“I couldn’t be prouder of the kids. They were just awesome today.”
Albert Lea had four students earn individual performance awards. These students include junior William Kreun, sophomore Gigi Otten, eighth grader John Lukes, and seventh grader Macy Taylor.
Albert Lea Mock Trial will begin regional play Friday when it travels to Waseca.
