Viktor the Viking visited Halverson Elementary School on Wednesday while on his quest to “STOP” bullying, according to a press release.

Students learned several things about bullying and had some other famous mascots and players call in to help.

Some of the things students learned were:

• STOP: Stand up to the bullying, Take appropriate action, Open up to an adult, Protect yourself and others

• There are four types of bullying: verbal bullying, physical bullying, social bullying and cyber bullying

• There are roles people play in bullying: the person bullying, person being bullied, people who watch or run away, and people who encourage bullying.
