Letter: Agency grateful for volunteers

Using volunteers at Senior Resources is not new to us. We have known since 1980 that the impact they make is vital to our success. Recently, the Tribune highlighted our office volunteers. I hope everyone noticed the picture in the March 20th edition. These friendly, knowledgeable volunteers are the ones who answer the phone and take messages so you get the services you need. And they help with any office task we may need help with.
We also use volunteers to deliver food, provide respite, drive for Ride Services and do special projects through Chore Services. On March 5, volunteers helped at our pancake breakfast at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. It was a great success because we had lots of good help.
Volunteer involvement in any city is an indicator of the commitment and pride the residents have for their town. Thank you volunteers throughout Freeborn County. We are a better place because of you.
