An Albert Lea man who allegedly sold methamphetamine to an informant last year within 300 feet of Morin Park was charged Thursday in Freeborn County District Court.
David Frank Nolan, 37, is charged with second-degree drug sale.
Court documents state Nolan was charged after agents with the South Central Drug Task Force conducted a confidential informant purchase of meth from Nolan Nov. 9.
Nolan allegedly provided 4 grams of meth to a third party and the informant in the parking lot of the Albert Lea Eagles Club, within 300 feet of Morin Park.
District Court Judge Ross Leuning set conditional bail for Nolan at $25,000 on Thursday. Nolan’s next court appearance is scheduled for April 13.
Second-degree drug sale carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison and a $500,000 fine.
