1. Family Fun Festival
Parents are encouraged to bring their children to Northbridge Mall on Saturday for the Family Fun Festival.
There will be fun activities along with different educational vendors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
2. Albert Lea Noon Kiwanis Club pancake breakfast
The Albert Lea Noon Kiwanis Club will host a breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Fairlane Building in the Freeborn County Fairgrounds. The menu includes Denny Brue’s pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee, milk and juice.
Donations will be accepted with all proceeds going toward student scholarships.
3. St. Theodore Catholic School Auction Extravaganza
St. Theodore Catholic School will host its annual Auction Extravaganza starting at 5 p.m. Saturday in St. Theodore’s Marian Hall and gymnasium.
This year’s theme is “A Roaring Good Time” and people are encouraged to dress in their best 1920s outfits.
Cost is $30 per person, and tickets are available at the parish or school office. They are also available at the door.
The event is for adults only. Reservations are recommended.
4. Easter Extravaganza
United Methodist Church will host an Easter Extravaganza Event from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the church, 702 U.S. Highway 69 S.
There will be a bouncy house, face painting, animals, photos with the Easter bunny and arts and crafts. An Easter egg hunt will be at 1:45 p.m. for children ages 3 to 6 and at 2:15 p.m. for children ages 7 and older.

5. ‘Twisted Apples: Stories from Winesburg, Ohio’
Professional actors from the Twin Cities area will present a music-theater piece based on Sherwood Anderson’s classic American novel “Winesburg, Ohio” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center. The play tells the story of individuals who struggle to overcome the loneliness and isolation that seems to permeate a small town in the early 1900s.
General admission tickets are $15, and tickets for students are $10.
