Denise Johnson

Denise Rae Johnson was born Jan. 15, 1950, in Austin, the daughter of Phillip and Doris (Lange) Johnson. She grew up in southern Minnesota and graduated from Alden High School. Denise started working for Mayo Clinic on March 6, 1966, in the photographic lab as a photo processor. She was asked to work on many of the photo and printing machines, where she found her passion for color printing. Denise eventually was able to work in the color printing department at Mayo until she retired on March 1, 2012. She had an incredible love for animals — not only her own pets — but also through her volunteering with Paws & Claws. She enjoyed gardening, nice cars and family get togethers. Denise will be remembered for her kind heart and soul.
