Fire department visits students

On March 28 and 30, the Albert Lea Fire Department presented a math- and science-based lesson to the students at Southwest Middle School. The students were divided into three groups and taught about the math and science they use in their jobs. This was a hands-on experience, as the students went from doing the calculations to operating the hoses from the fire truck. - Provided
