Thefts by fraud reported
A $2,940 check was reported fraudulently cashed at 10:04 a.m. Monday at 406 Mariners Lane.
Theft by fraud was alleged at 4:03 p.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
2 cited for violations
Albert Lea police cited Celsey Lynn Peterson, 20, for underage drinking and driving, possessing a small amount of marijuana, possessing drug paraphernalia and driving after suspension during a traffic stop at 2:58 a.m. Tuesday at 133 W. William St. At the scene, police cited another person for underage drinking, possessing a small amount of marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia. That person’s name was not listed on police records.
Albert Lea police cited one person for possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop at 11:12 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Greenwood Drive and West Richway Drive. That person’s name was not listed on police records.
2 arrested on warrants
Deputies picked up Amy Kay Reyes, 39, on a Mower County warrant at 12:43 a.m. Monday at 612 Barker St., Hartland.
Nathan Alexander Finnegan, 20, turned himself in on a local warrant at 4:53 a.m. Tuesday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
Child in need of protection reported
A child protection report was made at 1:58 p.m. Monday in Albert Lea.
