Albert Lea Friends of the Library will host a spring book sale Thursday through Saturday at Albert Lea Public Library.

The sale lasts from 4 to 7 p.m. for members of the Friends of the Library group. Memberships can be purchased at the door for $5.

The sale will be open to the public from noon to 6 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

There will be a $1 bag sale. Children and young adult books will be free on Saturday.

The sale will take place in the City Center Garage.

All proceeds go toward funding special activities at the library.
