Items damaged

A bike was reported damaged at 6:11 a.m. Tuesday at 811 Plaza St.

Damage to a fork lock mechanism and some scratches to metal on a bike were reported at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at 811 Plaza St. Someone allegedly attempted to steal the motorcycle from a hotel parking lot.

A 2012 Hyundai was vandalized, and items, including a cellphone, were stolen at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday at 202 Adams Ave.

Damage to a truck was reported at 8:12 p.m. Tuesday on North Eighth Avenue. The damage allegedly happened Sunday, and damage was estimated at approximately $3,000.

Decorative lights were reportedly cut again on a deck at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday at 122 S. Third Ave.

Thefts reported

Blue and red Harley Davidson motorcycles, along with a leather jacket, chaps and boots, were allegedly stolen from a garage at 5:44 p.m. Wednesday at 79433 Freeborn County Road 46, outside Albert Lea. The incident reportedly occurred earlier in the afternoon.

Tools, a one-ton service truck and other items were reported missing after a farm shop was broken into at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday at 29825 Freeborn County Road 45, outside Clarks Grove. Entry was allegedly made by breaking a window.

A black 9 mm semi-automatic Taurus handgun was reported stolen at 7:51 p.m. Tuesday at 213 W. Front St. in Hayward. The incident allegedly occurred one week ago.

Checks allegedly continued to come in on a closed account at 8:52 p.m. Tuesday at 430 Bridge Ave.

A watch, CD and approximately $10 were allegedly taken from a car at 8:08 a.m. Wednesday at 738 W. Front St. Loss from the incident was estimated at around $130.

A theft of $300 in cash out of a boys’ gym locker room was alleged at 12:23 p.m. Wednesday at Albert Lea High School, 2000 Tiger Lane.

Jewelry was reported taken from a residence at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday at 1016 St. Jacob Ave. Suspects were identified.

1 cited for violation

Police cited a juvenile male for possessing a tobacco product at 1:52 p.m. Wednesday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

Sexual assault reported

Sexual assault was alleged at 12:06 p.m. Wednesday at 800 S. Fourth Ave.

Domestic incident reported

Physical fighting outside was reported at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at 817 S. Newton Ave.
