Well, Mr. Tuveson, I know how you feel! Being conservative to me means taking care of family, going to church on Sunday, paying your bills and paying your taxes. Now, to you it seems it means people who destroy people’s health and the environment and who live on payments under the table from big business. I use the word liberal as opposed to Democrat to differentiate between most Democrats and the very liberal left wing of the party. I have many friends and family who are Democrats, but as far as I know they do not block doorways to opposition political rallies or yell down speakers and try to break up town meetings. I guess I should start using the full name: liberal left wing-nuts.
