Letter: Try new solution with teachers union in Minnesota

One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. The teachers union tells us over and over that if we spend more money we get better education. We spend more per pupil than any other country but just end up with higher wages for teachers and administrators. Many countries that score above us in testing support a public and a private education system. They spend less money and get better results. Maybe we should try it in Minnesota. It will not happen here as long as the governor is in the pocket of the teachers union.
