1 cited for violation

Police cited Isaias Gomez-Chan, 40, for having no Minnesota driver’s license after a  juvenile female told police she and her friends were outside when two males pulled up in a van and approached them before leaving when a girl yelled for her mother.

2 arrested for violations

Albert Lea police arrested Katherine Martinez, 21, for fleeing on foot after a group of approximately 10 children were allegedly walking toward College Street from Euclid Avenue and Main Street, appearing to attempt to enter vehicles as they were walking past. Martinez was also held on local warrants.

Police arrested Dana Marie Storllie, 22, for fifth-degree meth possession and shoplifting at 7:51 p.m. Thursday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

3 arrested on warrants

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Shawn Dewayne Earley, 33, on a warrant out of Moniteau County, Missouri, at 6:38 p.m. Thursday at 66484 310th St., outside Hartland.

Yolanda Lynnette Peterson, 47, turned herself in on a local warrant at 8:46 a.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway.

Haley Jade Dorman, 24, turned herself in on a local warrant at 11:29 p.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway.

Sexual assaults alleged

A sexual assault report was made at 11:10 a.m. Thursday at 1715 S.E. Marshall St. A suspect was identified.

A sex crime with a child victim was alleged at 9:09 p.m. Thursday in Albert Lea. The incident reportedly happened approximately two to three months before.

Thefts reported

A theft report involving a black men’s Trek bicycle with white lettering and blue marks was reported at 8:42 a.m. Thursday at 221 1/2 N. Third Ave.

A boat was reported stolen at 4:36 p.m. Thursday at 805 W. Ninth St.

An allegation of a theft of tools was made at 8:12 p.m. Thursday at 1908 Bridge Ave.
