4 arrested, cited for DWI
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Paul Duop Ter, 21, for fourth-degree DWI during a traffic stop at 3:39 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 69 and Pickerel Lake Park.
Police arrested Katie Jo Young, 35, for fourth-degree DWI during a traffic stop at 10:33 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Main Street and South Washington Avenue.
Police cited Lance James Johannsen, 45, for fourth-degree DWI and having a .08 blood-alcohol content within two hours after a traffic stop at 12:17 a.m. Sunday at 522 St. Peter Ave.
Police cited Rafael Angel Figueroa Martinez, 26, for fourth-degree DWI and having a .08 blood-alcohol content within two hours after a report of a drunken driver was made at 5:53 a.m. Sunday at 609 E. Main St.
3 arrested, cited for violations
Police arrested Gilberto Sanchez Jr., 43, for fifth-degree gross misdemeanor methamphetamine possession and on a warrant at 5:05 p.m. Saturday at 701 S. Broadway Ave.
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Michael James Pepin, 26, for fifth-degree assault after an untitled investigation was made at 8:46 p.m. Friday at 23087 Minnesota Highway 13.
Police cited Richard Dwayne Kay, 49, for disorderly conduct at 3:06 a.m. Sunday at 433 Maurice Ave. Kay was taken to jail and held for bail.
1 arrested on warrant
Police arrested Leif William Lindstrom, 43, on a warrant after loitering was reported at 5:15 p.m. Saturday at 2708 Bridge Ave.
1 transported from ATV crash
A juvenile female was reported transported from an ATV crash at 6:47 p.m. Friday at 81444 265th St., outside Hollandale.
Terroristic threats, assaults reported
An assault in progress was reported at 1:26 a.m. Saturday at 315 W. College St. At the scene, police arrested Dominic Francis Sargent, 22, on an apprehension and detention order.
Death threats were reported at 6:25 p.m. Saturday at 100 First Ave. NE, Clarks Grove.
An assault report was made at 8:04 a.m. Saturday at Good Samaritan Society of Albert Lea, 75507 240th St., outside Albert Lea. A male resident was allegedly physically abusive toward a staff member.
Burglary, thefts reported
A burglary report was made at 7:44 a.m. Friday at Hawthorn Elementary School, 1000 E. Hawthorne St.
A counterfeit $100 bill was reported received at 11:04 a.m. Friday at Kwik Trip, 906 W. Front St. The incident allegedly occurred earlier that morning.
A $1,300 loss from a Publishers Clearing House scam was reported at 7:44 p.m. Friday at 1615 Bridge Ave.
A stolen item was reported at 12:43 p.m. Saturday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
Identity theft was reported at 1:27 p.m. Saturday at 225 S. Pearl St.
A theft report was made at 7:17 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. Loss was estimated at $500, and video was obtained of the incident.
