Grace Lutheran Church of Albert Lea’s confirmation class participated in a creation care poster contest in conjunction with Pentecost, a season of growth and life in the church, according to a press release.

Groups designed their posters around an Earth care theme and a Bible verse. The church’s creation care team judged the entries, and the winning posters focused on eco-friendly clothing, preventing deforestation and reforestation. All posters are currently on display at the church.

The mission statement of Grace Lutheran’s creation care team is, “We strive to inspire our church community to live out God’s call to be stewards of the Earth for the sake of all creation and future generations.”
