Rick Boyd Johannsen, 64, of Hartland died Sunday, May 28, 2017, at his home. As per Rick’s wishes, no formal services will take place. Interment will be in the Freeborn Cemetery in Freeborn with military honors by Freeborn American Legion Post. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is assisting the family. Rick is survived by his sister and brothers Mark Johannsen of Hartland, Steve Johannsen of St. Paul, Kathleen Johannsen of Twin Lakes and Gary (Margie) Johannsen of Lansing; two nieces and a nephew, Christine Johannsen of Austin and Emily and Shane Johannsen of Lansing.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Evelyn Johannsen.
