1 arrested for gun violation

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Athena Alizabeth Berg, 24, for possessing a firearm in a motor vehicle without a permit, possessing stolen property for the firearm and fifth-degree controlled substance possession during a traffic stop at 12:56 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and South Shore Drive.

3 arrested for drunken driving

Albert Lea police arrested Robert Leal, 43, for third-degree driving while intoxicated and having a .08 blood-alcohol content or more within two hours during a traffic stop at 12:49 a.m. Tuesday at 903 Bridge Ave.

Police arrested Adam Lee Duncan, 36, for third-degree DWI during a traffic stop at 1:51 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 35, about seven miles north of Albert Lea.

Police arrested Lee C. Jenne III, 32, for fourth-degree DWI and third-degree test refusal during a report of a drunken driver was made at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday at 2707 Bridge Ave.

3 arrested on warrants

Police arrested David Charles Monson, 72, on a warrant during a traffic stop at 7:18 p.m. Monday at the intersection of East Main Street and Morningside Road.

Police arrested Joseph Eugene Waltz Jr., 21, on two local warrants at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Commercial Street and Madison Avenue.

Police arrested Sarah Segura on at least one warrant after an arrest warrant execution was reported at 7:54 p.m. Tuesday at 121 1/2 W. Clark St.

4 cited for violations

Police cited Jerome Cletus Ahles, 66, for disorderly conduct at 7:43 p.m. Monday at the intersection of North Broadway and East Fountain Street.

Police cited one person for possessing a small amount of marijuana Monday on directed patrol. That person’s name was not listed on police records.

Police cited Lucio Roman, 18, for disorderly conduct and underage drinking and Claudio Aguilar, 19, for underage drinking after disorderly conduct was reported at 1:52 a.m. Tuesday at 1318 E. Main St.

Items stolen, damaged

A 20-gauge pump shotgun was reported stolen from a garage at 6:50 p.m. Monday at 614 Water St.

A navy blue mountain bike valued at $75 was reported stolen at 8:50 p.m. Monday in Albert Lea.

Both buoys on the south and north side of Hatch Bridge were reported damaged at 9:56 a.m. Tuesday.

A car was reported broken into with items stolen at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday at 201 S. Central Ave., Hollandale.

A truck was reported stolen at 7:55 a.m. Monday in Freeborn County.

Copper was reported stolen out of a barrel at 2:25 p.m. Monday at 1410 Olsen Drive. The incident allegedly occurred last weekend.

A lost purse was reported at 4:08 p.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

A 22-foot bed trailer, as well as a skid loader, were reported stolen at 4:36 p.m. Monday at 77847 209th St., outside Albert Lea.

A car was reported broken into, with a door latch-like item stolen, at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday at 1505 Academy Ave.

1 arrested for drug possession

Police arrested and cited Lucas Michael Wangsness, 31, for driving after suspension and fifth-degree drug possession during a traffic stop at 8:19 p.m. Tuesday at 525 W. College St.

Sex crime with a child victim reported

A sex crime with a child victim was reported at 2:14 p.m. Monday in Freeborn County.

Domestic incidents  reported

Domestic incidents were reported at 5:42 p.m. Tuesday at 1865 W. Ninth St. and at 12:08 a.m. Wednesday at 812 St. Thomas Ave.

Disorderly conduct reported

Disorderly conduct was reported at 10:39 p.m. Tuesday at 609 E. Fifth St.
